Hi, all. I have an ATI Radeon 9000 PRO 8x video card, and I just recently found out (doing some other diagnostics and tests) that it's been running on 4x all this time. I'm not sure why it was set that way, because it says so in the documentation, it capable of x8. Could someone clue me in on how to set it to x8, please?

The multiplier should be selectable in the BIOS somewhere. It's impossible to say exactly where and how without the details on your MoBo.
BTW, that's an old card and I'm not sure how much you'll be able to get out of it by switching the multi from x4 to x8.
