ASUS error can't write ESCD

I suppose that this error is connected to BIOS but I’m not sure. Immediately after the Windows Startup screen, I get a message saying: Can't write ESCD. Could anyone tell me how I can get rid of this error? I have an ASUS mobo but I’m not sure which model is it exactly. Thanks a lot in advance!

I can just tell you some general info but if you could post more info on your machine I may be able to give you some more help. I’ve heard that such problems on ASUS mobos can be caused by modems and serial port settings. You should perhaps try contacting ASUS for more help.
