Hi there. I am running Windows 98 and I am using AOL browser for the internet habits. I have some difficulties with the certain Java Applets and the AOL surfing. Some of the Java based applications are showing and redrawing the applet window very improper. I saw that Firefox has no difficulties with this at all. I know that switching to Firefox is the most easiest solution, but the habit is habit. I just love AOL. How to resolve this? Thanks in advance.

Hello. Here are some steps that might help you. First try with the cleaning old temporal and prefetch data from your computer. Clear all web cache. Maybe it is all you need to do. Try to edit your AOL keywords preferences and browser security settings. Allow all graphics there and never set the AOL to compress the graphic contents. Disable that option if checked.
