Hello. I am an AOL user. I have seen that AOL released antivirus software and wanted to give it a try. I have downloaded it and installed it. Few days after that I have stumbled upon article explaining that I had accepted various things when I installed this. Of course, everything is written in user agreement but who reads EULA ever. I do not believe they are using such cheap tricks. Can you confirm this issue?
Hi. It seems that AOL is using such cheap tricks to earn something. In short, when you install AOL you grant them permission to collect and share data about software usage and permit them and their affiliates to send advertising e-mails to AOL users. So, you have agreed to let someone collect data about your behavior in exchange to AOL Antivirus protection.
