| Hi guys, just a quick question here: Is there some way to get the AOL data – like the address book, favorites, etc. – downloaded down to my hard drive? I mean in a way that would let me use it with other e-mail applications, like Outlook or Thunder Bird or whatever? Thanks a lot! |

| Sure, you just need to download a couple of things first (unless you already have them). One, get the JRE (Java Run- Time Environment) form the Sun site (sun.com). Two, get the Address Book Tool from aoleave.com. Then, you use the tool to extract your personal AO folder data, and save it in .pst file format. Finally, import the .pst file into the other e-mail client of your choice. Simple, no? |
