Hello! I have XP 1800+ processor. I am considering its upgrade because I have heard that processor upgrade will speed up my computer. Is that true? If this is true, please tell me which processor I should buy and install? I am not expert in hardware field and that is why I am contacting you. Thanks!

Hello! I think that you should upgrade your XP 1800+ processor to Sempron 2600+ processor. These processors use socket A motherboards and you do not need to change motherboard. I can tell you that this upgrade will speed up your computer, but you should not expect miracles. I really hope that my answer helps you!
