| Hello, folks. I am about to buy new computer for my kids. The old one (I am typing on it right now) will be in my room for music, videos and little surf. Now, my kids want to play games and only games, therefore I need very strong PC. Which platform is better for entertainment? AMD or Intel? Thanks in advance. |

| Two or three years before, AMD processors were somehow better for gaming, while Intel processors were much better for intensive decoding and encoding of digital material, or these were just the rumors. But if you ask me, the only reliable processor from AMD was Barton. If we eliminate Bartons heat spreading, than it was the perfect sample. But today, Intel positivly rules. Dont think about platform anymore. Intel Core 2 Duo is the best choice now. Intel. That is the answer. |
