Is anyone else having problems with AIM on a Verizon connection? I keep getting disconnected for no apparent reason. The error message I get is "lost connection to network error code 10054", but everything else works fine, browser, downloads, etc. I've scanned my computer for viruses and shit, but it turns out I'm clean, so I'm guessing it must be the ISP. Can anyone confirm this?

I don't know, I'm not on Verizon myself but being a selective connection issue, this seems more likely to be firewall-related IMO. Are you using one, and are you sure that it has AIM in its non-restricted program list? Has the firewall configuration been changed recently? Of course, if you've already checked and it's not the firewall, it still may be the ISP… but if you haven't, check the firewall before calling them, just in case.
