I did a system overview using Everest (aka Aida), and it came up with this issue:
"Problem: Current AGP speed is lower than maximum supported. This may cause performance penalty."
The problem is, when I go into BIOS I can't see the option for setting the AGP speed to x8, there's just x2 and x4 available (and it's at x4 ATM). So what' the deal with that diagnosis, then? Am I missing something?

The deal is, diagnostics software is probably talking about your motherboard, namely the AGP slot on it, which is probably in theory capable of higher speeds than x4, so it reports it as such. It doesn't cover your video card, however; if you have an older card, it may not be able to support x8, so you don't get to set it at that.
Just a guess. Try Sandra and see what it says re. video card AGP speed available.
