| Hi there. I had to change the motherboard for the new one, because the old one went to heaven. It seems that new motherboard is somehow faster than the previous one, but now I have problem with the graphic card. There is no game that I can play normally without VPU recover error message. Crash to desktop is unavoidable, and restart right after. Is there someone who knows how to fix this? Thanks in advance. |

| Hello. This is probably because of the graphic card driver, or you need to assign IRQ to VGA from BIOS. Ati Radeon 9600 XT is somehow little out of the class, little more specific then the most of other rivals and models. Enter the BIOS and enable option for assign IRQ to VGA. Set graphic aperture size to 128 mb, enable USWC mode and palette snooping. Also set AGP driving strength to 8X (maximum) if you have 8X AGP motherboard. Replace the drivers for the newer one. Catalyst Control Center 7.8 for example. First, remove the previous ones. If this does not helps, and you really didn’t had these problems with your old motherboard, then update your chipset drivers. |
