I have a problem with 3D gaming. Namely I have this nVidia graphics card and it occasionally freezes while I’m playing any 3D game. That’s quite annoying since I must reboot my PC and I can’t save the game. Imagine how many times I have to play the same part all over again. What usually causes this problem and how to solve it?

I’m not an avid gamer, but this problem falls under the category of hardware. There are various reasons and many of them are connected with insufficient memory. Maybe you should fist look game requirements and see if your PC and all its components can support it, because certain games, especially those 3D are very demanding. And for some of them memory over 1GB is recommended. There is also graphics card memory, and sometimes the lack of that memory can cause this freezing. The processor speed is also very important and you can’t expect a game to run smoothly, if the processor is not fast enough. So, check all those performances before you start playing a game.
