Hi! I have an external hard drive I’m using on a PC with WinXP on it. I have no problem with it now but I fear I might have in the future since I plan to switch to Mac soon. Does anyone know if there is something I should do with my hd before changing machines?

I think you shouldn’t have any problems when switching from PC to Mac as long as your external hard drive is formatted in FAT32. It’s just going to be plug and play. However, you should consider using one with a FireWire port instead of USB because it is much faster.
