I keep on getting an error message from a new 2003 Terminal Server w/SP1. I am trying to connect to a remote machine but I get the message saying something like: remote control failed - access denied. Did I get something wrong while building this terminal server? Does anyone know what might be the problem?

You didn’t give us a lot of data but if you’ve done everything right and I suppose you have, then there’s only one simple explanation – you forgot to log in as admin and that’s why you get the access denied message. Don’t worry, you’re not the first one who’s had such problem. It seems like beginners mistake but happens a lot, trust me.
